We have developed products covering a wide range of different dosage forms. These products include powder, emulsion, and aqueous forms, giving higher value to the use of the products, such as
Liquid products that are convenient for clinical use
Cost-effective solid products for long-term consumption
Our deep understanding of the physicochemical properties, interactions and microbial profiles of raw materials allows us to develop formulations that are consistent in quality and experience. The full testing capabilities of our CNAS laboratory allow us to be fully familiar with the final composition of each formulation containing new ingredients. We ensure that the nutritional value and organoleptic properties (e.g. colour, taste) of our products remain fresh throughout their shelf life.
The final step in the product development process is the mass production of newly developed formulations, which requires our team of developers to work together to research and deliver processes that can meet quality standards.
For example, larger-scale production can lead to differences in flow rates, heating profiles and mixing characteristics that can affect product characteristics.
One of the goals of developing a liquid product is to create a formulation that remains stable during the manufacturing process and also maintains 12 months of shelf quality compliance.
Once the stability of our formulation meets our target expectations, we move to a pilot line in a transparent plant where we will perform a series of experiments to test this stability, such as looking at viscosity, particle size and pH.
While the nutritional composition and product stability meet the expected standards, we also focus on creating the most enjoyable use experience possible; nutritional formulations only work if patients are willing to use them. This means also focusing on optimizing taste, as well as ensuring the best possible consistency, such as emulsions that are fine and do not separate from water and emulsion.
